Applications:
- Natural stone, concrete pavers, wet-cast pavers, clay pavers, large slabs and porcelain
- Draining base, cement/sand bedding
- Walkways, pool decks, patios and non-vehicular areas
- Joint width from 3 mm to 50 mm (1/8" to 2") with intersecting spaces up to 100 mm (4")
- Minimum joint depth: 25 mm (1")
Techniseal NOCO STORM Jointing Compound - Additional Information
Tools Required:
- Street broom with stiff bristles
- Garden Hose
- Masonry jointing tool for smoothing down the joints
Application Instructions:
- Begin by thoroughly pre-soaking the surface where the jointing compound will be applied and the surrounding areas.
- Evenly distribute the contents onto the pre-soaked surface.
- Switch your sprayer to 'Shower' mode and gently add water to the area. Using a broom or squeegee, methodically spread the jointing compound across the surface, ensuring even coverage.
Cleaning Instructions:
- After filling the joints, continue to rinse the area thoroughly while brushing to ensure complete cleaning.
- For the final cleaning phase, use a fresh broom to prevent streaks from forming on the surface.
- Any excess product can be collected and stored in its original container for future use. The product should remain usable for several weeks.
- To preserve the leftover product, ensure it is completely submerged in water (about 50 mm or 2 inches deep). If the compound has started curing, do not return it to the container. Avoid trying to reseal the bag, as it won't be airtight. Make sure to close the container tightly after use.
Tips:
- Utilize water liberally to guide the jointing compound into the joints. Keeping the compound moist throughout the application is crucial to avoid early curing.
- With STORM™, there's no risk of overwatering. Use ample water at every process stage - before, during, and after application.
- Employ a masonry jointing tool to smooth out the STORM™ joints, ensuring a consistent and uniform finish.
