Romex Trass Compound - Additional Information

- Shelf Life: 12 months, dry and in the original sealed container
Application Instructions:
- Blend Ingredients: Combine ROMPOX® - Trass Bed compound with filler material (rolled grit/gravel 4–8 mm | 1⁄8” - 3⁄8”) at a 1:4 ratio. Use a pug mill or gravity mixer, stirring for 3-5 minutes.
- Add Water: Incorporate 9-10 liters of crisp, pure water for every 55lb bag of Trass Bed compound. Blend until the mortar has a slight sheen and can be molded into a solid sphere.
- Application: Pour the blended ROMPOX® - Trass Bed compound onto the ready water-permeable sub-grade, employing a wheelbarrow for easier transport.
- Levelling: Use a screed tool to level the mixture, ensuring the depth is adjusted based on the projected surface load.
- Installation: Brush ROMPOX® - Adhesion Elutriant onto the paver's underside. Next, set the paver on the ROMPOX® - Trass Bed and tap it down to its final spot.
